One Day Project

I was honored to be the group leader for the One Day Project 2019. We collaborated with the UoS year 3 student to create a capsule collection within the themes of menswear and black color and 'zero waste' concept. We travelled for fabric sourcing to Shaoxing in advance to get black colored fabrics.

On the day, we rely on mostly draping to create our outfit. It is challenging for us as we need to get it done in 7 hours as it needs to be ready for the photoshoot by the fashion communication student. At the end of the day, there is a fashion show for our collection, there are 10 groups in total and we won the best menswear award.
